Mr. McMaster has had wide experience in the building services industry over a period of more than 37 years, with the last 6 years at Senior Engineer level and prior to that 10 years at Associate Director level. This experience has been related to mechanical services, electrical services, lifts and material handling.

Perth Royal Infirmary, Maternity Unit & Women’s Clinic. Design and specification of air conditioning, heating, ventilation, water, lift renewal, electrical lighting and power services. M&E contract value £1.3 million.

University of Aberdeen, Fraser Noble Building. Design and specification of electrical distribution board renewal. M&E contract value £70k.

Glasgow Academy, New Prep School. Design and specification of lighting, fire alarm and public address installation.

Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, New Education Centre. Design and specification of electrical lighting and power services associated with the provision of the new centre. Project value £1.1 million.

Robert Gordon University, St Andrews Street Building. Design and supervision of air conditioning and electrical services associated with the provision of a new computer server room.

Kingswells Primary School Extension. Design and specification of mechanical services and sprinkler system. Project value £2.6 million.

Sheltered Housing, Airlie Gardens, Brechin. Design and specification of renewal of electrical services installation.

Robert Gordon University, Student Flats, Aberdeen. Design and supervision of gas fired heating, ventilation and electrical services.

Baxter Park, Dundee. Design and supervision of mechanical and electrical services for new park ranger centre and upgrading of main pavilion.

Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, Wards 6, 7 & 8. Design and specification of electrical lighting and power services, nurse call systems, fire alarm system, new lift installation associated with the refurbishment of the wards.

Perth Royal Infirmary, MRI Scanner. Design and supervision of air conditioning, heating, ventilation and electrical lighting and power services associated with the provision of a new MRI Scanner Suite.

Robert Gordon University, Technical Building, Aberdeen. Design and supervision of mechanical and electrical services associated with the conversion of existing areas from offices to a cell culture laboratory.

Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy, Laboratory Block. Design and supervision of mechanical and electrical services associated with the upgrading of the Biochemistry Laboratory.

Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy, Laundry. Design and supervision of mechanical and electrical services associated with reinstatement of the building following on from a fire.

Automated Mail Centre, Belfast. New build 26,000 m2. Displacement ventilation and cooling to processing area. Four pipe fan coil units in office areas. Absorption chiller and electric water-cooled chiller as chilled water source. CHP and MTHW boilers as heating source. Heat recovery systems. 400 kWe CHP. 1.3 MW standby generator. HF fluorescent lighting - VDT & high bay luminaires - daylight linked lighting energy management system. Addressable fire alarm - CCTV, intruder alarm & access control system.

Automated Mail Centre, Hermiston, Edinburgh. New build 20,000 m2. High velocity ventilation and heating to processing area and warehouse. VRF heating and cooling system to office areas. Automatic sprinkler system to processing area. Power and lighting bus-bar distribution. Addressable fire alarm - iT structured cabling system - CCTV, intruder alarm & access control system

Road Transport Workshop, Glasgow. New build 3,000 m2. Design and supervision of mechanical and electrical services including compressed air system, piped lubrication and waste oil systems and vehicle exhaust extraction systems.

Guild Hall, Queen Street, Glasgow. Design and supervision of mechanical and electrical services associated with the upgrading of Fifth and Sixth floors to high specification office accommodation.
