Outline of Project
An employee at a leisure centre was badly injured when a calorifier exploded because the pressure relief valve failed to operate. The employee raised a civil action against the employer which in turn involved two third parties in the action.

A senior member of Cadogan's staff was appointed as expert witness for one of the third parties. The work included consideration of the design, installation, operation and maintenance of the plant. A report was written and submitted and expert evidence was given at the Court of Session in Edinburgh. The action was successfully defended.
