Experience Andrew Watson has been active in the acoustic consultancy field for over 20 years. As noise consultant to the Motor Sports Association (MSAUK), he is closely involved with all forms of Motor Sport noise and has a wide experience of all forms of Road Traffic noise. He has attended Public inquiries as a expert witness in Scotland, England and Ireland. Another area of his expertise is in industrial noise exposure and he is Chairman of the Institute of Acoustics Committee which runs the Certificate of Competence course for workplace noise measurement. He has acted as an expert witness in many disputes including deafness claims. Mr. Watson has carried out more than 100 noise exposure assessments for industrial companies. He is also active in the commercial field and clients have included Tarmac Recycling, Sacone (Environmental) Ltd, Shanks McEwan, W.H. Malcolm, MIRA (Motor Industry Research Association), Halcrow Barry, Dougall Baillie Associates, Robert Turley Associates, Gillespies, Scottish Coal Opencast, Scottish Widows, Motorola, Roche Products, Volvo GB, Goodwood Estates, Bodorgan Estates (Anglesey Circuit), Castle Combe Circuit, Three Sisters Circuit, Thuxton Circuit, many kart and motor-cross venues and various local authorities throughout the UK.
